Launching is tough work!

Went over some more final edits with my web designer last night! I'm hoping to get the site up and running soon!

Building a business is never easy... and right now my life is all kinds of hectic. It's tough to stick it out, but photography is my sane place. Having a camera in my hand just makes sense to me, and I truly love being able to capture moments, thoughts, and ideas on film.

On a camera side, I think it's finally time to upgrade my backup SLR. I'm having it cleaned and serviced, and will be selling it as a package with an 18-55mm kit lens, 70-210mm sigma macro lens, a cable release. It's a wonderful starter DSLR, and I've taken some truly great photos with it. I'd choose it anyday over a nikon or canon, and it has served as a wonderful little sidekick to my K20D. The reason I'm trading in my trusty ist*D? I'm upgrading my backup to a professional K10D, and will be acquiring a brand new f2.8 70-200mm lens that will make capturing weddings even more phenomenal.

I have a series of exciting projects coming up!

Will be in NJ for the weekend with a lot on the docket...
Shooting some photos for a friend's wedding, doing some engagement portraits in a multi-location shoot, and possibly some headshots if the time allows.

If I can find a moment to breathe, I'm going to try to get some work done on my ongoing project, capturing the spirit of the real Jersey Shore (no fist pumping or housewives involved!) Last time I was down on the boardwalk at night, this time I'm hoping it won't rain so I can spend some time doing a bit of quiet shooting in Ocean Grove.
